Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) took “diversity expert” Dr. Shaun Harper to task during a congressional hearing dubbed “Sacrificing Excellence for Ideology: The Real Cost of DEI,” and exposed his hypocrisy.
In a “Yes” or “No” question session, Rep. Gill asked the proponent of racial quotas and affirmative action to state clearly whether Americans should be treated differently based on their skin color.
However, Shaun pulled a Kamala Harris and skirted around the issue, saying that all racial demographics should be represented at all levels of government and organizations. He also claimed that people are entitled to support and “remedies” that are “owed to them,” suggesting that they should receive preferential treatment. This phrase is often used by people who advocate for reparations for Black Americans.
“Should people be treated differently based on their race?” Gill asked. “It’s a yes or no question.”
“It’s not a yes or no question,” the Democratic hack responded. “People should receive the services, support, and remedies that are owed to them because of systemic racism.”
When asked if race should be a factor during employment, the DEI expert stated that White people are not the only ones qualified. He added that companies should consider diversity when hiring people.
“I believe that diversity should be considered by companies and other organizations,” he said.
“I’ll take that as yes,” Gill responded. “Which race do you think should be preferred?”
Shaun denied suggesting that race should be a priority during hiring decisions, but insisted all demographics should be represented in Congress, the military, and business.
“What I believe is the demographic composition of workplaces in our nation’s military…Our Congress ought to reflect…,” he said.
“So, race should be a factor in employer hiring practices. Is that what you’re saying?” Gill asked for clarification and called out the DEI fanatic for failing to provide a straight answer.
“And it should be reflected in all companies and levels of hiring organizations,” Shaun clarified.
When asked if White and Black college applicants should be treated equally, the radical leftist outright refused to answer.
“If two people are applying for college. One is white and one is black. Should they be evaluated based on the same objective criteria?”
“I can’t answer that question for you as a proponent of holistic education,” he responded.
In June 2023, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that affirmative action that prioritized Black students over other races was discriminatory and thus illegal.
Additionally, racial quotas and affirmative action do not exist in the NBA to ensure that White Americans are represented by roughly 60 percent in one of the most lucrative sports. Similarly, Asians should constitute at least 7 percent of NBA players, while Black basketball players should not make up more than 14 percent of any team.
Similarly, the radical left also tries to suppress data in other areas where certain demographics punch way above their weight, such as in crimes, especially those of a grievous nature, like murders and robberies.

What the heck is “holistic education”? Also, if hiring should be based on equal representation then a company should only have at most 13% black employees and a lesser amount of Hispanics. And let’s be clear on the other thing, NO ONE is owed anything since whatever happened was to their ancestors not them.
